Rubber on Iron

Rubber on Iron Wheels have a tread that is Moldon Rubber which is bonded to a cast iron core. These wheels are quiet in operation and absorb shock and vibration. They help prolong equipment life and protect cargo. These are an economic solution for challenging applications. The Moldon Rubber tread is bonded to a heavy duty industrial cast iron (steel) core designed for durability. These wheels provide a shock absorbing semi-cushioned ride, for easy rolling over small debris, rough floors, cracks, and joints.

Rubber on Iron wheels are economically priced and designed with durability in mind. These wheels work great in outdoor environments, however, exposure to water or liquids should be avoided as the cast iron cores can rust. If rusting is an issue for you, please ask us about an aluminum or plastic core wheel. Mold on Rubber Wheels have a softer 80 Shore A Durometer wheel tread with a Temperature range of -40F to +180F. Popular applications are on trash cans, dumpsters and various other industrial cart applications.
